Project Description:
Web re-design and production of Illumina’s Customer Portal, creating prototypes, user-friendly interfaces, design layouts, and templates while strictly adhering to Illumina’s brand guidelines, contributing to an enhanced online experience. Seamlessly integrating front-end web technology with their back-end systems.
Skills:
- Build prototypes, user interface components, and comp designs for the Customer Portal
- Design layout and templates for maximum usability
- Design graphics, create user interfaces, and create front-end code in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to interface with backend systems
- Utilize advanced CSS techniques in order to solve design issues
- Apply Illumina’s brand guidelines

The Results:
My contribution to Illumina was very valuable, after Illumina’s Customer Portal redesign was completed, I was asked to come back and provide additional support to the Corporate Marketing team.
After the second contract ended, I was being offered a full-time permanent position to join the company.
